Inspiration - 'The Uninvited' Poster

We were searching the internet for background pictures for our blog when we came across this movie poster for 'The Uninvited'. Kate commented on how she liked the effect of someone peering in through the window for a horror poster as it made her feel uneasy. We think this poster works really well as the colours are dark and monochrome which means we cannot see the face of the person peering in the window, this builds suspense and does make us feel uneasy - like someone is watching us. Kate suggested we use a similar shot in our trailer as it is really effective in conveying the storyline and genre.
