Our Film Poster

For our film poster we wanted it to look very professional and believable; we took the best and most appropriate image from our poster photo shoot and then used the background of other photos to get the trees in the background of the photos. We wanted a very professional credit block so we researched what order and who's name came first and so on in order for it to look the best it could be. Initially, our film title was 'fear the forest' however we felt like this was slightly child-like and we wanted our film to be targeted at 15+ so we thought a more mature title would be suited better.
To get the correct fonts we went through a trial and error process in order to find the perfect ones, we then downloaded them and applied them to our photoshop document. We chose the black and white effect for our poster as we felt it was the most appropriate for our genre of film, we initially did try colours at first but we felt this look was much better. To create the 'blur' effect on 'forest' we used the process of 'filter, blur, gaussian blur' on photoshop.
