After viewing the Grave Encounters trailer I found really liked the style of the filming - Most Haunted style - and thought that maybe we could do a similar storyline in a similar location. As we have not yet decided our story or location this information will help us move towards a decision. The following link contains images of Prudhoe Mental Hospital - a place I felt would be a brilliant filming location if we were to follow the Most Haunted style. The hospital has a lot of history and therefore is full of good mise-en-scene, the pictures on the link illustrate this. There are some buildings which we would exclude from filming as they look too modern to fit with the mise-en-scene of our trailer - some of these are shown on the website.
The mis-en-scene in this picture would be really effective in a horror trailer.
The buildings in this picture do not have as much of a dramatic effect as others on the site, therefore we would not use these in our trailer.
